TET Stadium Hosts Prime Minister John Key

On Friday 3 June, the TET Stadium & Events Centre was privileged to host The Rt. Hon. John Key at a National Party fundraiser hosted by Barbara Kuriger, MP for Taranaki-King Country. The luncheon, for 130 members, was catered by Le Dejeuner Catering, with wine supplied by Tiki, and a complimentary selection of organic beer from mike’s Brewery, New Zealand’s oldest craft brewery*.

The Prime Minister spoke to a keen audience of local business people and National Party members on a variety of topics. The luncheon at the TET Stadium & Events Centre was part of a busy and varied schedule, which also involved visiting 33 young farmers from around the region in a cowshed on a Lepper Road farm, a question and answer session with students at Inglewood High School, and a visit to the East Taranaki Environment Trust’s offices.

We were delighted to have the opportunity to be part of the Prime Minister’s visit to Inglewood, and that our beautiful mountain chose to grace the occasion with an appearance for our esteemed guests.
